About Maeve
I am a mother of six from the ages of 32 to 13 year old twins and a grandmother to darling newborn. I have felt a deep connection to birthing women my entire life. My becoming a midwife is the culmination of over 20 years of dreaming and patience, while I raised my own family. I feel every birth is a sacred rite of passage, for you and your baby. In my care your wishes and desires will be respected while your health and the welfare of your baby will be safely guarded. I believe in the midwifery model of care, and most importantly, I believe in relationship-based care.
I myself am a proud VBAC mama! My first VBAC was in 1987 – yes that boy is 30 years old now and an Air Force pilot! I also achieved a VBA2C in 1998. Vaginal Birth after a Cesarean is a choice I am very passionate about. This is a triumph like no other! It is healing and empowering. I fought for my own right to VBAC and I will do everything in my power to help you achieve yours. I have many references of VBAC and VBA2C clients who would love to share their success stories with you! Please just ask!
I have home educated my children for most of the last 29 years. I am an avid lover of everything spiritual, sacred and divine. In my spare time I love to read, travel and spend time with my family. When I'm not at the office, I can be found avidly researching new healing modalities or snuggling up, reading next to my dear ones.
